RTTZ advisory committee have developed a set of criteria for the hotels/ lodges and camps to meet with the RTTZ certification standards. These criteria are still in the draft stages for a final review by the committee. The criteria have been developed using the Travelife criteria as a starting point, RTTZ have then included a number of criteria that are particularly relevant to the Tanzanian tourism industry and buinsess environment such as a set of criteria for health & safety and workplace practices.
Once these criteria are approved, they will be sent to Travelife for their endorsement. These criteria will be made available as a download from our website in due course; we will inform you when we have reached this stage.
